IMAGEPRINT BLACK for Windows Complete Install

This guide assumes you have already installed your printer(s) according to the manufacturer's instructions. It is bly recommended that you disable any anti-virus software prior to installing.
Confirm that you’ve received your License Code email and have the information handy. You’ll enter the license code number in Step 8 below. Do not insert the USB dongle yet.
Double-click ImagePrint_Installer.exe to begin the installation.
Read the License Agreement, check the box for “I Agree”, then click Install.
Installation files will be copied to your computer. During this process you may be prompted to reboot the computer one or two times, after which the installation will continue.
When prompted, insert the silver dongle into any free USB port on your computer or a USB hub.
The IPSetup utility will automatically launch.
In IPSetup, click Add Printer, then click Continue in the next window that appears.
Copy and paste the license code number from the email you received during the Activation step.
Select the printer model that you wish to install from the drop-down menu and click Continue.
Type in a name for the printer or use the provided default.
If this is the computer that will be communicating with the printer, choose Yes (Host Computer). (In most cases, this is the proper choice.) Click Continue.
Depending on the printer, you will see one or more of the following three options:
1. System Printer - If you are presented with a list of installed system drivers, pick the one used by the printer you are installing.
2. Local Port - If the printer is connected via USB, select this option and then click the PORTS… button in this section. Next, choose the driver for your printer and click OK.
3. Local Network - If the printer connection is via the network (Ethernet or Wi-Fi), click Local Network and provide the IP Address of the printer. This must be a static address. You can find the IP Address of the printer and set it to Static (sometimes called Manual or Panel) via its front menu panel. Check your printer manual for specific information.
Click Done to complete the printer configuration.
Close IPSetup by clicking the close (X) button in the upper right corner of the window.
Choose to Quit to exit the installer or choose Launch to get started with IMAGEPRINT Black right away.

Whenever you want to use IMAGEPRINT you can start it by clicking your Windows Start Menu and choosing IMAGEPRINT from the ColorByte Software program group.
